One plan for the roof and the new panels
Start by sharing your roof’s age, material, known leaks, and a recent electricity bill. We review the roof work alongside the proposed panel layout, mounting and flashing approach, electrical requirements, and any battery goals. Your roof covering and the solar system should be planned together before installation begins.
First, the new roof
The roofing proposal identifies tear-off, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, covering, and the agreed decking scope. If concealed damage is found, review the additional work and price. Solar attachment locations and roofing responsibilities belong in the planning discussion.
Then, your new solar system
With the new roof complete, we install the new solar equipment, make electrical connections, set up monitoring, and coordinate inspections and utility authorization before operation.

Our office is in Redlands. Projects elsewhere in San Bernardino County still need a property-specific jurisdiction check: county Land Use Services and incorporated-city building departments are separate resources. Do not assume the office location determines the permit agency for your home.
San Bernardino County Building & Safety provides a starting point for planning. Confirm the agency responsible for the actual parcel; county resources do not automatically apply to every incorporated-city property.
